The Night At The Club

Think LoveSunday night I had the opportunity to rock the stage with The Blueprint, some great musicians in Minneapolis / St Paul; it’s a beautiful thing when you think about it. Every musician is gifted with playing an instrument or two. That inspired me to start a band of my own. I notice how people react when watching a live band opposed to a track show, it’s really no comparison; the only thing with musicians is dealing with the egos. I know rappers have big egos too, case in point: Kanye West, enough said! What we need to do is respect the art, point blank.

Although I rocked a song with The Blueprint, I still did a few songs with tracks; the DJ got busy. The only drawback was I couldn’t hear my music or my voice through the monitors, by the time I got to my third song he had the house speakers blasting, that was the only way I was able to hear myself. It turned out good anyway according to the applause from the audience, I guess at first they didn’t really know what to expect from somebody rapping about God in a night club.
