We now have a spot in the Twin Cities to showcase Hip Hop on a positive note. Operation Hip Hop Conference is something I’ve been waiting for; thank God for the vision placed in Stacy Jones and his beloved wife Tryenyse.
I believe the time is now; young people are hungry for good music, and this is the time. Here are five reasons to attend Operation Hip Hop Conference 2011:
1. The environment will be peaceful, with lots of energy, entertainment and worship.
2. This event will feature five awesome speakers:
- Efrem Smith, founder of Sanctuary Covenant Church, author of “Young Heroes for God” and ”The Hip Hop Church” along with Phil Jackson.
- Elwood Jones, a pioneer in bringing urban gospel to the streets.
- Phil Jackson, founder of The House Church in Chicago, Illinois.
- Pastor Stacey Jones, one of the original members of Anointed Kings and founder of Urban Jerusalem.
- Pastor Urban D, founder of Crossover Church in Tampa, Florida, an author, publisher and hip hop artist.
- Truth be told, you can’t go wrong with a lineup of this magnitude; five speakers with youth ministry experience.
3. This event will feature over twenty five different artists from all over the U.S. On deck is:
- Tryeneyse Jones
- Bloodstain family

4. There will be workshops: the good, the bad and the ugly of hip hop; the power of music within us, how and why it changes our emotion. You will hear directly from the artists who will be teaching. In some workshops, the artists will be sharing their testimonies and experiences.
5. God will be in the building!
We pray that everyone that comes to the event will leave better for having experienced this conference.
